In 1991 John,Chris and Bob were in a progressive metal original band called Paradox. The bands lead singer Frank Ducan from Hammers Rule left the state and moved to Fla. Guitarist /song writer Glen Bathgate quit soon after and the group broke
up a year later the group reformed as Manifest. Fronted by the powerful vocals of Bobby
Hicks from
Rising Sun Recording group Mystic
Force the
band recorded their cd Find A New Place at Falling Sound Studio with Drew Mazurek at the mixing
board. The six song CD was a sure sign of talent both individually and as a
group. But before the group finished their second CD Bob Koehler
(drummer ) quit the band due to the repeated working in of different bass players after loosing John who also quit a year earlier. That was the end of Manifest.
A year and a half later Bob Koehler decided to start a cover
band. Bobby
Hicks who would never play covers anyway was unavailable due to he has moved out of
state. So Bob got Sean Patrick on vocals. Called in John Stankiwicz and Chris Meinecke and the former Manifest power trio was reunited as Balance Of Power. When Sean Patrick left he was replaced with Tina Gronckie
.Tina has a powerful vocal style and a tremendous range .She brought
back the missing energy lost when Bobby Hicks left.
In 2007
Becky joined adding keys, vocals and guitar to enhance the BOP
sound.
